You win.

Yes.

Winterwind-NS responds:

yes

Man, you're so amazing.

As always. Seriously, I mean it.

I think one of your strong points is orchestration, the way your instruments interact is powerful, but I think your real good stuff lies in your melodies. Some of your melodies are just so incredible man - such as the theme of your adagio mvnt in your concerto - that just stay with you. And this theme is no different - it really shows the great battle type medieval feeling of Castle Crashers. I hope you win man, 'cause you deserve it.

That one guy (what's my name again?)

Oh yeah -

First off, I like the mood this creates. Very serene, and somewhat sad. It's very pretty though. Also, even though the song isn't like angry or excited, the first chord has quite a force to it, giving the feeling of a very powerful sadness.

I like the melody; it's very simple. Not too complicated, which, I think, compliments a piece like this.

Very nice harmony, I think. No dead or boring chords, and I very much like the progressions you use.

All in all, a very nice piece. I like it a lot :D Keep it up man.

Rocky

P.S. I can tell you get some influence from Winter :D

Fuoco responds:

The mood is precisely what I was aiming for :D
About the melody, it's still very hard for me to create a long melody, and sticky, without messing it up :(. Still, I'm working on it. Maybe I should take classes :p

Influence from Winter?
Yes :), he's one of my favorite composers.

Thanks for reviewing!!

Okay man. This is a good piece. I don't normally listen to techno, but whatever. I can't enjoy any genre (except rap) if it's well made.

I don't know anything about how to make electronic music with Fruity. So yeah...I really have no idea how this was made lol.

I like the little countdowns, though that's pretty obviously what the piece is named after. The piano is a really nice touch. (Pianos own all.) The main theme is pretty catchy too man.

Btw the shrieking thing at 0:36 and other parts makes it seem a bit scarier too (not a bad thing). A minor was a good choice of key too. Simple, but effective.

It's a really good song. Tell whoever you worked with that you and he can pat yourselves on the back.

Thanks Rocky! :D I will go listen to your music now. I am about to post another song on here too if you would like to hear that as well.

REVIEW'D!!!!

Hm...hello.

Uhh nice job w/ the left hand. It wasn't too generic this time. lol Good thing you changed it kinda later. Not really.

I really like the melody. It's like sad/mysterious/confused all kindsa stuff. Nice recap at 2:00. I like how each time you reuse the theme, it's like returning to a familiar place. I like how it goes into octaves near the end. I don't really have a favorite part. I like it all. Nice chordal work too overall, I like.

Great jarb. Another addition to the file of Winterwind's Romantic piano lol.

Have a cake.

Fanks home boy lol
that was messed up wut u said about my left hand lol

thanks for the review, kinda.. not really...

WW-ns (lol!)

Wow. My first review I've written in a while.

Sooo. Where to begin. Listening as I review...

Lol what a creative title. The beginning was a little weird with the whole dotted quarter, eighth before the downbeat. It surprised me. The chord structure is nice throughout.

That tiny "break" from the main theme was nice. I like the descending eighth notes in the left hand at the end of the theme just near the end.

Hmmmm I just wish it was longer lol. I couldn't stand to write something to short. Anyways, good job.

Rocky

Very nice

This was very nice, calm in relaxing even. Hm...I don't really think it belongs in Classical though. Sounds a bit more like jazz if you ask me. Great job at playing the song. I really liked the melody, but I feel you could've taken a break from it and done something a little different somewhere.

Nonetheless, lovely work. I hope to hear more like this.

jackie1188 responds:

Its kind of a mix of classical and Jazz.
But I think its more based on classical music, thats why I put it here.
Maybe there some jazz-pierces to come.

Dear Maestro,

:'(

Great song.

MaestroSorrow responds:

*death*

heh, inside joke guys.

Thanks MusicalRocky, keep up the good fight.

Cool

Yeah, I finally came over here and reviewed. I don't listen to this kinda stuff lol.

I don't like it (this kinda genre isn't my thing) but I know it's good. Lol if that makes sense. Nice job. I wish I could give you some critique and stuff on it. Sorry 'bout that.

Again nice job,
MusicalRocky

Cool

The sound of a real piano is quite lovely, especially after listening to my Midi stuff >:(

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised when I started listening to the melody. The whole piece actually strike me as creepy. Also a hint of sad, but very creepy.

I like that big melody jump at the beginning. Very surprising. Also like that you started off in the v chord. Nice.

Nice key. E minor is cool. Darn, I wish I had more to say. Nice job, man.

WinTang responds:

Thanks!! Creepy is what it should be, that's why it gradually drops the common harmonization and ends in shrill dissonance.

(Actually, it's in G major, and it starts there, but it has the B in the bass)

Thanks man and I'll get working on your piece soon. Cheers.

Hey guys, sorry I've been inactive recently. I'm working currently on two songs. So hopefully expect some submissions soon! Also, the best way to contact me is at my email: marshall.rocky@gmail .com If you PM me here, I may not read it for a while!
