Love it

Wow, the piano starts off with a nice, simple rhythm, and then the song turns really loud really quick. And then gets quiet again.

I really like the melody. Yeah, like I've said before, it must *SUCK* to have to play this, but it's worth it, right?

I like that guitar (?) and also when the deep notes of the piano start. I also like the percussion. I felt there should have been more percussion earlier on in the song, but I don't know, it's your song. It's great, MilkMan_Dan. Could you listen to my songs on my profile? Apparently they are going through "scanning" or something since I haven't submitted anything before. But click on my name and I suppose you'll be able to listen. Thanks. Keep writing great songs.

Rocky :)

MilkMan-Dan responds:

First of all... Call me Dan :).

It's always worth all the effort it takes to make the music... always. I checked out some of your work. Your quite good sir. I hope to hear more from you... as you will hear more from me :).

Great song

I don't know much about techno, MaestroSorrow, but this song is really good. I like the piano near the beginning. And then that flute was really good. But then when those strings kick in...man, those strings rock!

And then there's some weird, echoey type of percussion(?) soon before the song ends. It loops very well. I was kind of like...oh it's the flute again...wait...the song restarted! lol

Great job. Keep up the great work. You have gotten a 5/5.

Rocky

MaestroSorrow responds:

Many thanks musical_rocky ^^. I don't know much about Techno myself, this could probably have been ten times better X_x.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, many thanks for the review ^^.

Awesome

This is a great song, and scary...or eerie I guess you could say. The nice, happy instrument playing a light, cheerful melody at the beginning is not how I expected this song to begin, but it did, and it was great. The very quiet strings start and get louder in the background until they suddenly overwhelm the light, happy instrument, and the violins (?) play the main theme until they stop and the first instrument (I don't know what it is) plays the theme again with a cello(?) playing a few notes until the song's done. I was sad when it ended. Yeah, it definitely needs to be longer, which I think you are already planning to do...I don't know. Great job, Killer_of_trolls, and keep making great songs!

Rocky :)

Slayer-of-trolls responds:

That's interesting... I never really thought of the melody as happy per se, more confused really, but yeah, I'll be making this longer. I'm waiting for the inspiration.

Thanks alot for the comments.

Great song again

Another great song from you, MilkMan_Dan! This is a really good song that will be among those I look back and say, "I remember when I first heard that" or something.

Anyway.

I like the solo piano at the beginning, with the simple bass and simple melody, and I thought, "This song is really good," when really the song hadn't really gotten started yet.

That percussion, those strings (or synths), that horn instrument...when they enter the, song it sounds really good. All of the instruments play the same theme basically. And the piano keeps on playing. This must have been difficult to play on your keyboard.

The percussion for the song is really good. When I write I usually can never seem to get the percussion just right, it's so hard.

But anyway, the song fades off after the theme is repeated with variations. But you know all this.

I think there's something that couldn't have made the song better...something that was wrong with it...but I can't figure it out! Sorry I can't be more helpful! Anyway great song, MilkMan_Dan, and keep writing more great songs!

Rocky :)

MilkMan-Dan responds:

The main difficulty with making a song with a keyboard... is that you must play it right... completely... the whole way through. And you must "Play" it... nothing is pre-recorded or computerized for you... it's all whether or not you can do it yourself. This is a pain in the ass when writing music, because one tiny mistake can ruin the whole song. This is why often you can find tiny mistakes in my music... simply because after 100 times playing it I figured I'm tired of playing this stupid tune... not everyone will notice... but alas... someone always does. Like in this song... at the very end... u can hear it slow down. Sounds horrible to the trained ear. But most don't pick up on it... thank goodness... hehe... thanks for the reviews... your always a smile bringer.

great as usual

For your first techno song, it's great. I have dared to try to make techno before and it SUCKED. Maybe my next attempt will be better :)

You play the piano awesomely, man. I am a pianist myself and DARN IT! I wish I could play as well as you. This song has a nice beat and very good piano rhythms and melodies. I especially like how it speeds up from slow at the beginning to really fast almost instantly. I especially like the ending.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Your a pianist you say... clearly I must review some of your work. You can play better than me... simply go get some piano lessons and you'll already be one step ahead of me :P.

I do not play the piano expertley... anybody who listens carefully and has taken years of lessons will tell you... I'm very amateur. The difference in my work is the passion behind each piece. Each note. There is no theory... just music. Perhaps that's why people like it... perhaps... I just got lucky ;)... who knows.

wonderful

I don't know why I always tend to give you 5's, I just do.

This song is great. I like it. I like when the piano joins in really fast and then gets slower. I like the background, and the bell-type thing rhythm with it. It's all good. This song is nowhere near the greatness of "The Darkest of Fairies" though. Keep up the good work.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Not in the mood to write much tonight. But thankyou very kindly sir. Always great to get reviews from you.

Great

I love this song, Dan. I like the heartbeat sound at the beginning that repeats subtlely throughout. And then the piano rhythm kicks in and I really like that too. And the melody is really nice and the song never loses my interest. I would really like to here more like this even though you've done so much like it before. Great job, man. Rocky.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Listen to my very first stuff. It is much the same. I'm starting to think the heartbeat was a great idea :)... Thanks for your support. Love getting your reviews.

I like it

I really like this song, Dan. It's starts off with a nice, calm mood, with calm synths and slow, nice percussion. And then the percussion picks up, and the synths start to get higher and higher, until...the song gets calm again lol.

But that was great I like it (I'm listening to the song as I write this). Whoa! It just got loud, and stuff. I love the banging drums. BAM, BAM! Haha, and then the song kind of just ends. I love it. Keep up the great work Dan. Sorry this was a "I love it" review rather than a "You need to fix this" review. Hope it was helpful anyway. Keep writing great songs. ;)

MilkMan-Dan responds:

haha... tricked you didn't I... weren't expecting that ending were you. I AM THE GOD!. (ducks outta way of lightning)... god says I am not the god. Anywho.. Glad you liked it. I wanna make more like it.

Awesome

I love it, Maestro. It's my favorite of yours now. I love the the very fast strings (?) that plays pretty much throughout. And I love the occasional DUN, DUN, whatever that is. I would have liked to see more of that in the song. Man this song is great. I just love it. You should extend it. That would make it even better. Hope you like this review. Rocky.

MaestroSorrow responds:

I did like it, many thanks Rocky.

The full version will be much darker, more enjoyable.

I hope you come back to hear it ^^.

Umm...yeah

You write such good songs, Maestro! I love this song, especially the piano part (duh, that's mostly what we hear). Beautiful melody. And I like that...whatever it is...in the background...rain? Anyway, great song.5/5 of course.

By the way, I reviewed Man of Sorrow and forgot to mention you! You guys did an awesome job on that song. Keep it up!

MaestroSorrow responds:

heh many thanks, we have another collab coming, it'll rock ^^.

Hey guys, sorry I've been inactive recently. I'm working currently on two songs. So hopefully expect some submissions soon! Also, the best way to contact me is at my email: marshall.rocky@gmail .com If you PM me here, I may not read it for a while!
